Turkey Time!

Hey Buckeye Barn TN friends! It’s about that time when we roll up our sleeves and process our heritage breed turkeys.

If you have a turkey on hold…Processing day is Nov 20, 2021. Pickup day will be Nov 21, 2021 from 10am-5pm.

Sorry, but we don’t have any extras this year, as they are all spoken for. Next year, we plan to have more.

Note: We have one Blue Slate turkey that is ALL DARK MEAT. If you’d like to claim that bird, let me know. First come, since we only have one.

It’s been an unexpected pleasure raising these birds. They are very personable and curious creatures. They follow me around while I’m doing chores and they make some really cool noises. Two Narragansetts will get a “Farmers Pardon” this year (a male and female pair) and hopefully give us some chicks in the spring.

Darrin and I are so grateful for your support in this endeavor. We are honored to be a part of your special meal and please send me a photo of your finished bird!
